Adrian Kim DMD
Dr. Adrian Kim was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Growing up in a big city with significant healthcare disparities, Dr. Kim witnessed firsthand the general need for more accessible, affordable care. His passion was pointed towards dentistry after assisting dentists in community health clinics and seeing how thin the communication barrier is between provider and patient. He moved to Chicago in 2020 to attend Midwestern University - College of Dental Medicine, Illinois and graduated in 2024. He now resides in Champaign with his wife Christine, cat Legolas, and dog Ruby. In practice, Dr. Kim prioritizes patient autonomy and comfort while treating every individual like a valued friend. Outside of practice, Dr. Kim enjoys watching & playing basketball, collecting blu-rays & vinyl records, and spending quality time with his wife & fur babies.
Caryn- Business Assistant
Caryn is originally from Chicago but moved to Cissna Park (where her husband Brian is from) in 2012. She is a graduate of SIU Carbondale. Caryn loves to help patients understand their benefits and what to expect when they visit our office. In her free time she enjoys listening to music, watching true crime shows and spending time with her family and friends. Caryn and Brian have a son and he keeps them on their toes! They also have a Rottweiler named Phoebe who is a big sweetheart.
Alyssa- Business Assistant
Alyssa is from St Joseph and is happy to be part of our team. She enjoys the community and the small town feel of Paxton. She is looking forward to continuing to learn the business aspect of the dental field. In her free time she loves to listen to country music, go to concerts, watching sports (football), and spending lots of time with her friends and family.
Whitney- Hygienist
Whitney is a 2004 graduate of Cissna Park High School. After high school she went to Parkland College and graduated from the Dental Hygiene program in 2007. She began working in Paxton right away, but then transferred to a location in Champaign. Whitney married her long time love Ryan in 2009 and then welcomed their daughter Lily in 2014. The family moved back to Cissna Park in 2015 and love the small town life. Whitney loves TV, movies and seeing live concerts. She is also a cat lover and is a proud owner of two fat cats Mojo & Jonesy.
Faith- Hygienist
Faith was born and raised in south west Nebraska. She moved to Paxton in 2008 with her husband Dustin. They have 3 kids together who are all very active in the school district. Faith graduated from Parkland collage in 2020 and she feels very lucky to get to work with people in the community.
Michele - Hygienist
Michele is a 2012 graduate of Iroquois West High School. After high school Michele went to Parkland College & graduated from the Dental Hygiene program in 2017. She began working in Champaign at Illini Smiles (our sister office) in the fall of 2017. Michele then went on to work at our office, Paxton Family Dental in August of 2018. Michele is married to her high school sweetheart Aaron & together they have three children, Easton, Hadley and Merritt. Michele & her family currently reside in Ashkum. Michele loves going to the movies, any outdoor activities, and spending time with her children .
Andrea - Dental Assistant
Andrea has been in the dental field since 2006. She enjoys connecting with her patients and give the best patient care possible. She has been married to her husband Jeremy for 21 years and they have two sons and a daughter. In her spare time she enjoys traveling to the Smokey Mountains, jeep trips and time with her family.
Kelsie - Dental Assistant
Kelsie has worked in the dental field since 2006. She enjoys working in the patient setting and being able to get to know patients. She is married to her husband Josey and they have three girls. Kelsie grew up in Paxton and she loves this community and feels fortunate to work here also. In her free time she loves being with her family, going for Jeep rides and snowmobiling!
